Jeni Kelleher is an Ohio-based pastel portrait artist. She turned her lifetime love of art into a career after a friend introduced her to the joy of pastels. Jeni has perfected her skill of soft pastels to create stunning, timeless portraits for over three years now.

Photo Sitting
Book a session with Born & Raised Studio or a Born & Raised Certified photographer. A 40% deposit is required to book.

Reference Image
Choose your reference image from a gallery of proofs. Your photographer will guide you through choosing the perfect photo for your pastel.

What's included in the pastel price?
The pastel price includes the actual price of the artwork, a sitting fee with a Born & Raised Studio Certified Photographer, and packaging & 2 day shipping.
Who does the reference photo sitting?
Jeni works exclusively with Born & Raised Studio and Born & Raised Certified Photographers. Depending on your location, a Born & Raised photographer will travel straight to you or we will pair you with a Certified Photographer in your area.
How do I pay?
A 40% deposit is required to schedule your photo sitting. The remaining balance is due prior to shipment of your pastel.
We accept ACH Payments or Credit Cards (with 2.9% fee)

What are the applicable travel fees?
Depending on your location, your photographer may charge a travel fee to cover travel expenses. This will be an agreed upon price between the client & photographer. Travel expenses can be split among multiple clients and is a great way to lower the cost.
Do you do pastel events?
Yes! If you're interested in hosting a pastel event or pastel photo reference sitting event, let us know! We offer a host perk program - for every client you bring in, we give you a discount!
How long does the pastel process take?
After your photo sitting, your photographer will send you a gallery of proofs. You will be able to review these as long as you'd like before submitting your chosen image. Once chosen, your photo will be added to Jeni's queue. Jeni's waitlist time varies & your photographer can give you a more specific time-frame.
Do you offer framing on pastels?
We do not offer framing services prior to shipping the pastel due to the chance of damage. However, the Born & Raised Team will recommend the best framing options and framers in your area.
Can I also get Heirloom images from my pastel sitting?
Absolutely! All Born & Raised photographers offer stunning, high-quality heirloom images. This is a great way to hang on to those images you loved but didn't use for your pastel.
